I bought this for my grandson’s first Hot Wheels adventure. The cars are propelled around the track at super-fast speeds. Disappointed that regular Hot Wheels cars won’t work on it, but the Mario Kart cars look cute for young children and are super fast.
This set is amazing! Easy to put together. It’s not as loud as other Hot Wheels tracks. The track is really fast. Mario and Yoshi do fall off and the inside blue track is better. But, it is awesome! Buy now! Lots of fun and play time.
This is a really fun set but two identical pieces of track broke when setting it up. I was not putting excessive force or anything on the track it just kind of naturally bends a little the way it sits which broke the track. I emailed Mattel customer support just explaining what happened and they sent us replacement track and two extra cars! I honestly did not expect this level of support these days but they went above and beyond for us. My son was so excited when he saw the new racers for his set which again he would have been happy to just have the track so this really was next level support.
